The rules, written down before you sign.
When you are paid, what a voucher costs, and when it expires. If anything here changes, this page changes first, with the date.
When a business is paid
Businesses are paid by bank transfer every Wednesday. Nobody travels anywhere to be paid, and the shop stays open.
- The week closes on Tuesday at 23:59, Tunis time. Everything used before then is in Wednesday's transfer.
- If a Wednesday is a public holiday, the transfer goes out on the business day before it — never later.
- The Wednesday transfer goes out once what you are owed reaches your minimum: 100.000 TND, or more if you set it higher. Below it, the amount waits and joins a later week's transfer.
- You can also ask for a transfer whenever you like, of at least 100.000 TND, or choose to be paid only when you ask.
- Each transfer costs 2.000 TND at the bank. Below 500.000 TND it comes out of the transfer; from 500.000 TND, Bounou pays it.
- An order voucher joins a transfer once its 48-hour claim window has closed with no claim. A voucher used at the counter has no claim window and joins the next transfer directly.
What it costs, and how you find out
Bounou earns a commission. You know it before you sign, not after the first transfer.
- Your rate is written in your quote and in your contract, before you sign.
- For a business, the commission is taken from the face value of the vouchers used and the rest is transferred. For an organization, it is added on top of the face value and invoiced.
- VAT applies to the commission only, on its own line. The face value of a voucher carries neither VAT nor withholding tax.
- The same rate across Tunisia. Where your shop or your company is does not change what you pay.
When a voucher expires
Every voucher is valid for one year from the day it is issued. Its expiry date is shown wherever the voucher is shown.
- Value still unused on the expiry date is not refunded, not extended and not converted: it stays with Bounou.
- A voucher is used only for what it was issued for — a meal voucher at a business that accepts meal vouchers. Every business on the map shows which vouchers it accepts.
These rules sit beside your contract. Where the two differ, your signed contract applies.
